Present Bias Study Process
Description:
The Present Bias Study (PBS) is a research program by UChicago that aims to provide additional incentives, beyond mCCTs, to selected children in Karachi East and Kamber district of Sindh.
The program team shares children's details along with their unique identifiers (ZM Ids), assigning each child to one of four groups (arms): No Deadline, 1 Week, 1 Month, or Control Group. The details of each arm are as follows:
- No Deadline → The caregiver receives an incentive for the primary vaccine whenever the child gets vaccinated.
- 1 Week → The caregiver receives an incentive only if the child is vaccinated within one week of the due date.
- 1 Month → The caregiver receives an incentive only if the child is vaccinated within one month of the due date.
